I Dropped a TOY!

Today I made my first 'toy drop' for the project I worked on for The Toy Society. I created 2 Scottie Dogs with the free directions I found at their site, decked them out with ribbon, buttons, and daisies, and then I made 2 small envelopes and printed out the tags to attach to each little dog. They got stuffed into a sandwich baggie, I tied a ribbon to the baggie, and went searching for a suitable place for the drop!

I chose the playground area at a mobile home park. It is such a beautiful day, and I snapped some photos, trying to look nonchalant as I found a spot to attach one of the doggies to.

And there they are -on the slide, waiting to surprise their new owner! Let's say a prayer that finding the 'dropped puppy' will make someone's day a little brighter! Thank you, Toy Society, for coming up with such a neat and fun idea to spread some good will!

We will pray that the toy Angel will lead a little one to them. How sweet you are to do this.

What a nice way to spread some love...and to be homemade makes it even nicer. They turned out adorable!

Your scottie dogs are so cute! I was thinking that this would be a neat project to do for Girl Scouts or a church group.
