Free to use - Vintage Photos

Vintage photos like these are seldom seen.

The photos have seen better days. I did not alter them too much - the blemishes are part of their history.

If they were the same woman, what a story could be told.

No doubt, they are each different people, different life stories...
And totally different endings to their stories.
I would like to have known them, to listen to their words, to hear their wisdom that they might have to share. PLEASE -
Handle With Care......

Those are such lovely pictures. I'm glad that you are taking care of them now. It is sad that they somehow got away from their families. I did read on one of the Friday's Favorite Foto's that a woman purchased a few old pictures from a man at a yard sale and he said that his wife would be mad that he didn't get a lot of money for them. I can't believe someone would sell their own families pictures.
Sad....
Thanks for sharing those sweet pictures with us.
Hugs,
Angela

Rare, rare indeed to find Black Americana pictures like that. All the more precious for their rarity.

I love old photos, too. I've inherited some from parents and even great-grandparents. Dott posted some of her grandparents today... I'll have to ask OC if she will let me post a few of MY grandparents sometime.

It is kind of neat that you aren't letting these people be "forgotten" in this way. Linda (OC's Mom)
