Camp Grandma at the MOVIES!

I was looking on the computer for movies to go to when Viv surprised me from over my shoulder. We watched the previews of Shrek, and the decision was made to phone Great Gramma and see if she'd like to join us for the matinee. She agreed, but invited us to lunch at her place, so Viv got a pretty dress on, and we drove out for our meal.
Sloppy Joes was the meal of the day. We got served first, took some photos, and then we headed off to Celebration Cinema.
There were plenty of opportunities for photos at the theater, and Viv is great at posing for them. I have some to share with you today.
By the way, the movie was great, for all age groups! We had a lot of laughs and it sure was entertaining! We took Great Gramma back to her house, and then drove back to our place. Of course, there were evening chores to be done, but after dinner there was time for horsing around.....
You can see how tall this horse is, but Viv was determined...
...and she made it onboard after a few tries. Then she surprised Mr. Wonderful (alias "Grandpa"!) by riding the horse by herself!
She practiced stopping, starting, and turning before I let the lead rope go. Of course, there were a few "tests"....
...because the horse decides if you "pass" or "fail"! I guess Vivian "passed", because ....
...she didn't get hauled back to the hitching post too many times!

Today is our last day together and we are thinking of Garage Sales if we can find any! But first, breakfast. And then we'll see what the rest of the day holds!

Happy Trails to YOU!

What amazing memories you both gained this week at Camp Grandma's!
Such interesting, fun, and different experiences!
She's a natural in front of the camera, and seemingly on a horse too. She's your girl, that's for sure.
