Good Morning Sunshine!

This is the view I wake up to most every morning....
There's a bit of open sky in our woods and the sunshine peeks in to warm my little flower garden!
Do you see how the trees are leaning in the picture below?  It's no trick of the camera - and it gives me the feeling I'm living inside a glass globe, like the snow globes we used to get as Christmas gifts when we were small!  Imagine what a view God has as He holds HIS globe in His hands and looks down on US!

Mr. Wonderful fills the bird feeders with "Black Oilers", as they are known at the feed mill.  Both birds and squirrels enjoy feasting on what we supply, and we have good fortune of being able to watch them from our dining room window.  A perfect set-up for us nature lovers!

The rest of our yard requires me to search for plants and shrubs that require mostly shade to survive.  But Let There Be Light - and I'm filling it up with bright flowers and lots of color!  A good contrast for all of the "greens".

Make it a GREAT DAY!

How lovely, thank you.
Those first two photos are beautiful. You live in a very lush place.
We are so dry here in the summer. It's nice to see this much green.

Hey Monica!

That sure does look like the trees are forming a globe. You'll have to take a picture of them with the snow on them in the Winter!

You have a very beautiful yard!

Hugs,
Angela

It sure is pretty in your neck of the woods! Looks like there was humidity in the air today as well.
It's like a rainforest here, so steamy, and hard to catch a breath!
Bring on Fall!

So much GREEN! It's like being in a forest meadow from the looks of it. So peaceful and beautiful!

Our desert has it's own kind of beauty, but sometimes I crave the green! :)

Oh, you do have a beautiful place there, that's for sure. Thanks for stopping by. I know that in January-February I'll be looking forward to summer again, but this high heat and especially the humidity is just beating me up this year!

Oh Monica, your place looks like an oasis. Can we come there for vacation? My Husband is coveting your place in the woods now too. He's from Michigan too and He's homesick. The heat is killing a lot of our green this summer down here in Missouri. ;) Jennifer
