GET R DONE FRIDAY - Happy Harvest!

Welcome to this weeks' segment of GET R DONE FRIDAY!

If you are visiting and would like to join us, please do! It is very easy! All you have to do is:
  • Create post about a project you have completed - it can be something 'crafty', remodeling, planting a vine or a vineyard - it's totally up to you!
  • Link in with the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this post.
  • Visit all the participates and leave a comment so they know you have stopped by.
Be sure to refer viewers back to my blog so everyone can see who is participating today, and if you like - include the GET R DONE FRIDAY picture button (seen at the top of today's post) in your write-up. Please be sure to have your post up before linking in with a perma-link. Thanks so much!Yesterday I posted about my chicken pitcher - some thought she dated back to the 1950's because of the paint colors. She might be old, but not too old for a JOB! She could still hold ice water or other beverages - no chips, cracks or crazing in the glaze. That would be too ordinary a use for such a beautiful vintage gift. I like the unusual. So I got busy for GET R DONE FRIDAY, and...
...I hauled out old newspaper, dried and silk flowers, and floral foam. You know what came next, right? Yep - you are right - the Spanish Moss! I worked around what I had, then went out picking some dried things out by the road near our wetlands....added those items, some bearded wheat, seed pods from the long ago spent Poppy flowers... then some statice, faux blueberries on a wire stem, some red dried flowers and bright silks - and just look at the grand old girl NOW!And her "behind" - - - I made her a "bustle bow" out of 2 kinds of ribbon! Happy Harvest!

Now, lets see what YOU'VE been up to this week! Sign in to show your projects, or to see what others have posted! Thanks for visiting today!

Yikes. That first link is obviously a mistake. The second one is my project of the week. Tapemeasure table.
