This morning, Nitro took Pink Baby along to bring in eggs from our hens. PB loves to go for walks, but she gets easily distracted by anything different. Today, she found a hole, drilled into the ground by some woodland creature.
C'mon - get a move on, PB! No Dawdling!!! Nitro found a tiny egg gathering basket, just right for PB to use today, for collecting those eggs. We got our first egg customer yesterday - the man bought 2 dozen eggs to take on a hunting expedition in Northern Michigan this weekend - so we have to replenish our supply!
Up and over - and to the hen pen we go!

Pink Baby was kind of intimidated by the girls and their sharp pointy beaks, but we did manage to complete our task, and we're ready to make plans for the rest of the day!

I LOVE this pink baby post!!! Love it, and I "get" it.
I took Brunhilda and Borris Bearsaltandpepper on vacation with me - - - I had BALL posting about their adventures.
Then I got home and someone, who OBVIOUSLY isn't a blogger - - - dashed my dreams and hopes by asking "you didn't bring THOSE bears here, did you."
Well - - - I shall NEVER say anything like that about Pink Baby.

Coming from a hunting family, as a matter of fact all the guys took off this morning for their bow camp in the U.P., I know my dad and brothers try to stop at the little side roads places for the things that they need along the way.
