It's time for Tuesdays' Show & Tail'! Please visit our host, Angela, at West Virginia Treasures! If you have a cute story and picture of a pet, or any furry (or non-furry) friend, you are welcome to join in! Check her blog for the rules, post away - and thanks, Angela, for being a great hostess!
Many of you know that I have Pembroke Welsh Corgis. But did you know I have a cat too? This is Fancy Lou - a Calico I was given as a kitten in 1999. Fancy has the softest fur! She has traveled with me to N.Carolina, to Illinois, and back to Michigan, handling each trip amazingly well. We've had many homes together.
A few years ago Mom decided to sell the home that she and dad shared for many years, and got a very spacious apartment. She no longer has to worry about yard upkeep or any maintenance chores that come with home ownership, but she was lacking one small thing....a fuzzy companion to bring her joy and annoyance! Enter Stage Left - - - Fancy LOU!

Fancy is a gorgeous cat...too bad I'm so allergic to them!
Hey Monica!
Fancy is a beautiful cat! She does look soft too! I'll bet your mom just loves having Fancy around. And you know I have the Reba song running through my head right now! lol
Thanks for sharing about Fancy today!

The perfect name for such a beautiful cat! Don't the corgi kids want to herd her? Jake would do that non stop I'm afraid. Addie would totally ignore!
Well, she's probably pissed that you gave her away. She loves your Mom, but knowing cats she takes your giving her away as a rejection of her.
That's what happened when my DIL left her cat with her Mom, when she moved to MS. Blackie wouldn't even look at MinMin when she visit home, until she passed at age 16. Before she left her, they were inseparable for over 10 yrs..
Cats are funny but lovable creatures.
Your Fancy is very pretty.
Molly
I have to say that all your animals look awesome - you take care of them really well - I'm sure even for your mom. Which was so sweet of you. You cat loves your mom - maybe she's afraid you are going to take her back!
Love,
Sandie
