Happily Easter-After!

Hoping you were able to celebrate Easter in a very special way this year! I know WE did -
Yes, Deer Leg Bones - for EVERYONE! Who could ask for MORE?!? Really, though, Mr. Wonderful and I worked on Project Kitchen all weekend, and, Happy Easter to US - we have a new countertop and running water!
The new cabinet doors are installed in the main portion of the kitchen...
...but now, Mr. Wonderful won't be working on this project for at least 2 more weeks because he has to get 2 hen houses built for the Organic Farmers! In the meantime, we'll be figuring out paint colors for the walls, backsplash ideas for underneath the cabinets, and seeing if we can come up with a brain storm idea for over-the-sink lighting.

Hope you enjoyed your "sneak peek" at the progress in our kitchen!

Deer leg bones..., yummy! My Corgis would love this treat. Once my shepherd Maggie dragged a dead deer back to the house and was feasting on the carcass in the front yard until we, very carefully, took it away from her. These critters that live with us are not far removed from their wolf/coyote roots are they?
The kitchen is looking wonderful. I like that sink. What is it made of?

Looking good, looking good...I know you are smiling from ear to ear...running water again, that was the greatest sound in the world when I heard it after we remodel kitchen...
And you got to love them deer bones..lol..NOT...they stink, and boy does Levi love finding one of them in the woods and dragging it home.
Hope you have a great day.

Any remodeling project is a chore, but the end results makes it worthwhile. What you have finished looks good. I appreciate your visit and comment and will try to do better in my visits. I have not forgotten you, just slow getting around.
