Tuesdays Show & Tail - Scooby, Where ARE You???

I'm joining in on Tuesday's Show & Tail at Angela's West Virginia's Treasures. If you have a cute story and picture of a pet, or any furry (or non-furry) friend, you are welcome to join in! Please check out the rules at her blog, and WELCOME!
What an interesting time we had this past weekend - horseback riding on Saturday, and also, a guest came to spend an over night with us - My Sister-in-laws' Bichon, Scooby! She and her hubby were going to be out of town and asked if we could pet-sit Scooby - and of COURSE I said YES! Even though it would mean 5 dogs in our house, the more the merrier!
First in the door came Scooby's "luggage" - a little suitcase full of his accessories (treats, food, brush, leash, placemat, and bowls), and of course, a couple of beds and his BONE PILLOW! Inside the suitcase was an instructions for his care during his stay with us. I much appreciate knowing all about what an animal is used to, as it eliminates the guess work for me. Scooby even gets a 'sleeping pill' before he goes to bed at night - well, that's what they call it - it's really a breath mint!
After his mommy left, Scooby sat by the door looking dejected for a while. But he's a good little guy, and it didn't take long for him to settle in. I had chores to do outside, so I left him in with Nitro for a while. When I came back inside, I called him....No Scooby! I looked all over the house. Still, no Scooby. SCOOBY DOO BEE DO - WHERE ARE YOU??? Finally, I went back into the living-room for the 3rd time, and looked around. I had a double-take at our recliner. There was a quilt on it....
WELL! Don't let me DISTURB YOU, Scooby!!! For goodness sakes! He knows how to make himself comfortable! What a funny little fella - always smiling!
Scooby was the perfect guest - ate everything put in front of him, and didn't fuss about bed time either! We sure enjoyed having him as our guest, and we were thrilled to find out he'll be coming back to spend time with us again in August! I'm SO looking FORWARD to it!

Hugs -

He looks like a real sweet heart and the perfect guest... except scaring the daylights out of you by "disappearing." You are right... he has a really cute smile, too!
